Background
Tubulin is a highly conserved αβ dimeric proteinpresent and is essential for all eukaryotes. αβ-Tubulin dimers assemble intomicrotubules, dynamic polymers important in a variety of functions, mostnoticeably, mitosis. Tubulin assembly and disassembly are linked to guanosinetriphosphate hydrolysis.
